Jeremy Gifford's Website

Past Website Projects

The goal of this page is to host glimpses of previous website projects. I mostly wanted an excuse to play with iframes and HSTS restictions. The below websites were written in simple text editors with the help of w3cschools awesome online references. You can adjust the window sizes by dragging the bottom right corner of each site.

WGU Web Programming Class Personnal Project

This small site was the precursor to the minimalistic, black and white thematic elements that I’m currently employing. I chose the resume content for its factual and simplistic nature. Like the typical class project, I had to include most common HTML tags/structures.

First Website

This site was my first foray into web programming and HTML. I started working on it in my early highschool years, occasionally updating it, until I decided it was time to throw out the horribly busy and static theme. Originally, the site was HTML v4, CSS2, ASP.NET and was running on Windows Server 2003 with IIS v6. I had the server running on a little Intel Atom board in my bedroom. Windows Server 2003 was migrated over the years to 2008 and finally 2012 (and their R1/R2 flavors). The bare metal install became a virtual machine on a hyper-visor.

I finally decided my next needed project would be modernizing the site on a “LAMP” (really just Linux-Apache-PHP, LAP?) stack.
